Managed IT

How managed IT is priced, and what you see before you agree.

Three starting packages, sized by people and computers, with the exclusions stated up front. Your written proposal confirms coverage and the total.

Starting packages

The packages side by side

Each assumes one straightforward office and Microsoft 365 environment.

Managed IT packages compared
Package Starting price Named users Primary computers Pooled support hours
Guardian Office $895 per month Up to 5 Up to 5 3 each month
Guardian Business $1,495 per month Up to 10 Up to 10 5 each month
Guardian Team $2,495 per month Up to 20 Up to 20 10 each month

Microsoft 365 licenses, backup subscriptions, onboarding and applicable taxes are additional. Servers, additional locations and specialized requirements are quoted separately. Final coverage and total cost are confirmed in writing.

In every package

What every package includes

  • An agreed Guardz security subscription for covered users
  • Covered equipment and account responsibilities, documented
  • Scheduled checks of device health and update status
  • Business-hours triage and coordination of security alerts
  • A monthly service summary showing support hours used and remaining
  • A quarterly conversation about priorities

How support hours work

Support hours are pooled across your team and reset each month. Routine troubleshooting and hands-on changes use the pool. The scheduled checks and the monthly summary do not.

Custom automation projects are scoped and priced separately. They do not use your support hours.

What shapes the total

Why two proposals can differ

The package sets the starting point. These are the things that change the final coverage and total.

  • Number of people and computers
  • Servers, additional locations and how much onsite help you need
  • The software and systems the business depends on
  • Microsoft 365 licensing and backup subscriptions
  • Onboarding, based on what we find

Before you agree

What your written proposal shows

You should be able to read a proposal and know exactly what you are paying for.

  • What is covered. The named users, primary computers and systems in scope.
  • Who is responsible. What Guardian does and what stays with your team.
  • What is additional. Licenses, backup subscriptions, onboarding, taxes and anything quoted separately.
  • Rates and terms. The rates for time beyond the pool and the agreement terms, in writing.
  • The total. Your monthly cost and any one-time costs.

Comparing providers

When you compare IT proposals, compare what is covered and who is responsible, not just the monthly figure.

Common questions

What happens if we use more than our pooled hours?

We tell you as the pool runs low. Additional time is billed at the rates agreed in your written proposal, and nothing beyond the pool goes ahead without your approval.

Do unused hours carry over?

No. Pooled hours reset each month. The monthly service summary shows how many were used and how many remain.

Do the scheduled checks use our support hours?

No. The scheduled device-health and update-status checks and the monthly summary are part of the package. Routine troubleshooting and hands-on changes use the pool.

We have a server or a second location. Can we still use a package?

Packages assume one straightforward office on Microsoft 365. Servers, additional locations and specialized requirements are quoted separately, so your proposal will show them as their own items.

Does the first conversation cost anything?

No. The 15-minute introduction is a conversation about your needs. It is not an assessment, and nothing in your systems is touched.

What would you like to get under control first?

Choose the conversation that fits. Either way, you will talk with a person and leave with a clear next step.
